When you create, there will be lots of distractions.
Ego will pop up and say it has to be great or you might as well not do it. It must be a best seller and please others.
Resistance will pop up because you’re tired or it’s Friday or you are stuck. Go ahead…name anything.
But if you pay attention, there’s another player in the game.
All it wants to do is play, whether it is sunny or raining or you have a cold. It is waiting for you to make eye contact and say, “Go!” So tag it instead, and chase a little fun. You might find it while you splash in a puddle or plunk away on an old piano.
Find delight, and you’ll find creativity.
