Transform Creativity

Transform Creativity with Tawna Allred's Online Art Instruction!

There was a time you loved to make art.

Letting it go did not happen overnight. Life simply got in the way. For one reason or another, it feels like you should get reacquainted with the creative side of you.

As Elizabeth Gilbert says in her book “Big Magic”:

“Are you considering becoming a creative person? Too late, you already are one. To even call somebody a creative person is almost laughably redundant; creativity is the hallmark of our species. We have the senses for it; we have the curiosity for it; we have the opposable thumbs for it; we have the rhythm for it; we have the excitement and the innate connection to divinity for it.

If you’re alive, you’re a creative person. You and I and everyone you know are descended from tens of thousands of years of makers. Decorators, tinkerers, storytellers, dancers, explorers, fiddlers, drummers, builders, growers, problem-solvers, and embellishers–these are our common ancestors….Your creativity is way older than you are, way older than any of us. Your very body and your very being are perfectly designed to live in collaborations with inspiration, and inspiration is still trying to find you–the same way it hunted down your ancestors.”

Don’t believe it?

When I was in kindergarten, I drew stick figures just like everyone else. The only difference was I chose, struggle after struggle, to keep picking up the box of crayons again and again.

That’s it. And that is the only choice you have to make.

I know you have lots of fear to conquer. You might also be wishing you had some more skills. My online classes are specifically designed to tackle both.

Each class is deliberately set up to address the resistance we face as creatives while simultaneously teaching you art skills that can only be learned through the act finishing a specific painting.

Why did I choose to set each lesson up this way?

Finishing a painting is integral to your mental and physical skills as an artist. You don’t get better by reading about art. You get better by doing it.

Life won’t get easier and our time on this earth is short. Now is the time to transform and become the artist you’ve always wanted to be.
